Leduc Dance Collective is excited to be supporting KidSport Leduc & County in hosting the 2024 Leduc County Dance Challenge at the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts!
Leduc Dance Collective is a new local dance company open to dancers 18+ who want to continue growing in their art and passion after graduation. Our ultimate vision is to build a community of support and training for young artists to pursue performance and choreographic opportunity at a pre-professional level. To build resources and a network locally for dancers to continue excelling in the the field of dance as a profession. To break the stigma of competitiveness between studios and foster the growth in collaboration.
On February 3rd from 1:15 to 3:15 at the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts, LDC in collaboration with KidSport Leduc and County will host their first Leduc County Dance Challenge. A one day competition for all studios and dance groups within Leduc County. Our goal is to showcase the talented dancers within the Leduc region and provide an opportunity for professional feedback before the competitive dance run begins for local studios.
In this our inaugural year the event will welcome around 40 students and their families from Leduc and Beaumont areas in a "dance off" style competition. Studios have submitted routines in a variety of dance styles and levels. This event is open to the public and is sure to impress.
Our sponsors valuable contributions will enable us to provide a stage opportunity to the participating dancers while instilling a love of dance, collaboration and support within the local dance community. We also strive to enhance and promote local businesses and organizations. We would like to invite you to be a sponsor of this exciting grassroots event and also as a supporter of our growing dream. We have outlined a variety of ways for Local businesses to get involved.
