TONIGHT!

The sun is shinin', the hot dogs will be grillin' and David Lawson and the Country Jammers will be singin.' This is our final Summer Concert Music Series by Brooklyn Recreation for 2026 so bring the fam jam and your lawn chairs and spend the evening with us.

Remember, we have adjusted the times a bit because it's getting dark earlier. Hella Good Gourmet Hog Dogs will set up shop at 5PM, but the music will start a half hour earlier at 6:30PM. We will try to get as close to 8:30 as possible, but may be more 8:15PM.

With the days getting shorter, we are pushing out last concert a half hour earlier. The food truck will still be on site at 5, but the band will start at 6:30, rather than 7.

Everything will wrap up at 8:30!

We’ve added two new garbage cans!

We’ve added a garbage can at Hank Snow Playground, right beside our new picnic table, and another at Brooklyn Waterfront Park, located closer to the gazebo (but still far enough away that you won’t have to worry about any unwanted smells!).

Both locations are perfect spots to enjoy a family picnic, grab a quick lunch break during the workday, or simply spend some time enjoying our community spaces.

So pack a lunch, enjoy the outdoors, and please help us keep these spaces clean by using the new garbage cans!

A little effort from all of us goes a long way in keeping Brooklyn beautiful!

Come on down to the Brooklyn Waterfront Park for our Summer Concert Music Series by Brooklyn Recreation. We have Sam Wentzell Music performing at 7PM, with Toasties - Grilled Cheese Shack rollin’ in for supper at 5PM.

Bring your family, friends and lawn chairs and enjoy this summer evening. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash!
