Direct Motocross

1985 Junior Nationals at Motopark. My bike was broken so I borrowed a Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. YZ125 from Mark Allen.

My father went to the hospital the day before because he hadn't been feeling well. It turned out his blood sugar was up to the point he was about to drop into a coma. He asked if he could still go to a dirt bike race the next day. They said, "Yes, if you want to die..."

So. I loaded up the little trailer and drove up with my mom and my buddy, Jeff May. I had never ridden the bike before and I didn't even qualify for the motos!

And yes, that's a 1979 Lada.
