We’re sharing the upcoming competition calendar to help our athletes and families plan ahead and prepare for an exciting and competitive season. 🇨🇦🇺🇸🌎

📅 National & Regional Competitions
A selection of Canadian and U.S. competitions across different age groups and levels, providing valuable opportunities for athletes to gain experience, challenge themselves, and continue their competitive development.

🇺🇸 Recommended U.S. Competitions
Some of the U.S. competitions highlighted in the calendar are recommended by our coaches as good opportunities for athletes to participate in, depending on their age, level, goals, and competition plan.

👨‍🏫 Coach-Attended Competitions
We have also identified competitions where our coaching team will travel and be present to support and coach our athletes during the event.

The first North American Cup (NAC) of the 2026–27 season is coming up, and registration is now open.

🏆 A Proud Moment for United Fencing Center

We're proud to share that our coach, Reza Peykarara, is representing the international refereeing community at the 2026 FIE World Fencing Championships in Hong Kong—the most prestigious fencing event of the year outside of the Olympic Games. The Championships are taking place July 22–30, 2026.

As a recognition of his outstanding expertise and professionalism, Reza was selected to officiate both the Women's Sabre Semifinal and Final, a distinction reserved for the world's top referees.
We are incredibly proud to have Coach Reza as part of the United Fencing Center coaching team and congratulate him on this remarkable achievement.

We wish him continued success throughout the remainder of the Championships and look forward to celebrating even more accomplishments in the days ahead. Congratulations, Coach Reza 👏🤺

What an incredible day ❤️🤺

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our United Fencing Center Open House and made it such a memorable event.

From exciting fencing experiences and live demonstrations to fitness challenges, the FIFA World Cup Final viewing, delicious BBQ & snacks, live music, fun games, and our JoyShare Summer Fest celebration—it was an unforgettable day filled with energy, laughter, and community.

We were truly honoured to welcome Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, who took the time to visit and congratulate us on this special event. His support means a great deal to us and inspires us to continue growing the sport of fencing while building an even stronger and more connected community.

Senior Sabre Coach at United Fencing Center.

With a strong background as a former Korean national sabre athlete and international coaching experience across Korea, Spain, and the United States, Coach Park brings high-level expertise, technical precision, and a passion for developing athletes at every stage.

🏅 Career Highlights

* 🥉 Bronze Medalist – 58th Korean National Championships (2020)
* 🥇 Gold Medalist – 35th Korean University Fencing Championships (2016)
* 🥇🥈🥉 Multiple podium finishes at Korean National Championships (2012–2020)
