The first Milton Farmers’ Market of the season kicks off this Saturday and honestly… they couldn’t have ordered a better day for it. ☀️

We’ll have the whole crew in:

and Declan “McLovin” (still under review).

Wander the market, grab something good to eat, then swing by and say hi. We’ll have the doors open, tunes on, bikes everywhere, and probably at least one of us holding a coffee.

Coffee runs just got dangerously efficient.

Well… we did.
45c GravelKing X1s now tucked into the Search XR Steel. Still some clearance too… just awkwardly tight up front thanks to the front derailleur doing its thing.

Gave the whole rig a proper refresh while we were at it — fresh bar tape, full clean, drivetrain running quiet again. And that stock colour-matched stem? Still one of the best little details on this thing.

Is it practical? Debatable.
Is it comfortable? Oh yeah.
Is it fast? Not even close.

But that’s not really the point.
This one’s built for the long way home, extra coffee stops, and gravel detours you “accidentally” take on purpose.

1978: flip flops, open shirt, zero watts.
2026: slightly more watts. slightly fewer questionable decisions.

The new DIG BMX 2025 book just landed and honestly it’s a beauty. Thick, heavy, full of the kind of BMX photos and stories that make you want to go ride immediately (or at least sit on the couch and pretend you’re “studying lines”).
