Neyte’s Japan adventure is coming to an end! 🇯🇵🦉✈️

Our final day was a whirlwind before heading to the airport, but Neyte squeezed in quick stop at the Edo-Tokyo Museum and Tokyo Skytree. From high above the city, you can even spot Tokyo Dome in the distance! 🏙️⚾️

Then it was time for the long flight back to Canada—with ANA’s adorable Pokémon videos making the journey a little more fun. ⚡️

We’ve officially landed at YVR, which means Neyte is almost home in Nanaimo! After trains, baseball, sumo, capybaras, Disney, incredible views and countless adventures, this travelling owl has had one unforgettable trip.

Thank you for following along with Neyte’s journey through Japan. Now it’s time to make that final trip home and get some much-needed rest! 💙💛

Neyte’s Japanese adventure continues! 🇯🇵🦉

Day one of two at Tokyo Disney Resort took us to Tokyo DisneySea—a one-of-a-kind Disney park found only in Japan! 🌊✨

From exploring the different ports to checking out the pirate ships, Neyte had plenty to see on his latest adventure. Thankfully, the weather played nice for about 90% of the day… today’s forecast might not be quite as magical 😅🌧️

A little rain won’t stop this travelling owl, though! Stay tuned for day two! 🏰

SUMO DAY! 🇯🇵💥

Neyte took in Day 2 of the September Grand Sumo Tournament at the legendary Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo!

The ceremony. The tradition. The strength. The atmosphere. Seeing it all in person was something truly special—and Neyte had the best seat in the house! 🦉

He may be a baseball owl, but he left with a whole new appreciation for life in the ring. ⚾️🤝🥋

Game day in Japan! 🇯🇵⚾️

Neyte had an amazing time experiencing Japanese professional baseball—and even made a new mascot friend along the way! 🦉

It was a hard-fought battle from the first pitch to the final out. After nine innings and three extras, the game reached the NPB regular-season limit of 12 innings and ended in a 3–3 draw!

No winner, but definitely an unforgettable baseball experience for our travelling owl. 💙💛

Neyte went wild in Higashiizu! 🦉🦒🇯🇵

His latest stop was Izu Animal Kingdom, where he met some very tall new friends, explored the zoo and checked out the Ferris wheel!

It looks like the giraffes were just as curious about Neyte as he was about them. 👀

Where will our travelling owl land next? I did hear he has some exciting plans for tonight! Check back with us tomorrow ! ⚾️

Neyte’s Japanese adventure continues! 🦉🇯🇵

Part one of this stop takes us to Izu Resort Villa in Higashiizu, on the beautiful Izu Peninsula. Neyte checked into the Animal Villa suite and discovered some very relaxed new neighbours—capybaras living in the literal backyard! 😍
