Have you ever wondered what happens to the smaller pieces of leather left behind when a Sensation Ride Saddle is made? 🐴💙

While these genuine leather cut-offs are too small to be used for another saddle, they are far too beautiful to be tossed aside. Sarahndipity Designs gives them a new purpose by transforming them into lightweight, one-of-a-kind earrings.

Handmade in Saskatchewan, each pair combines our stunning genuine saddle leather with thoughtfully chosen beads, stones, charms and other unique accents. Some designs may even coordinate with the leather of your own Sensation Ride Saddle and creating a custom pair is an option during a saddle order!

From our scrap bin to a brand-new purpose, each pair becomes a beautiful statement piece. Every pair is truly one of a kind, so make sure to check them out before they’re gone!

We’re proud to support a Canadian artist while giving our quality saddle leather a second life.

🇺🇸 U.S. CUSTOMERS 🇺🇸 Important Shipping & Saddle Order Update

To our valued U.S. customers, we want to provide an important update regarding saddle orders and shipping.

Due to the recently implemented tariffs, we are pausing shipments to the U.S. until further notice. This was not an easy decision, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding as we navigate these changes.

We are still accepting new saddle orders. However, at this time, we will not be taking a deposit on new saddle orders. Your saddle will be added to our order queue, and we’ll be in touch with further details as the situation develops.

If you currently have a saddle on order with us and would like to cancel your order due to the tariffs, please contact us directly at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to assist you.

The good news is that we currently have Sensation Ride Accessories in stock in the U.S. If you’re interested in accessories, please contact us directly at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help with your order.

Please note that U.S. orders cannot be placed through our website at this time. All orders must be arranged directly through email.

Thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding. We truly appreciate being part of your riding journey. 🤎🐴

Spring is finally here—and with it comes a fresh set of considerations for your horse’s health 🌱🐎

A great read from Horse Journals highlights the importance of transitioning your horse carefully into the season, think gradual turnout on lush pasture, staying on top of parasite control, and watching for common spring issues like mud-related skin conditions and fluctuating body condition.

As routines shift and riding picks up, it’s the perfect time to reassess nutrition, hoof care, and overall wellness to set your horse up for a strong season ahead.

At Sensation Ride Saddles, we believe a comfortable, healthy horse is at the heart of every great ride 💛

Did you know you should perform a yearly check up on your Sensation Ride™ Saddle❓ 🔎

Our saddles have an excellent reputation for durability, so with annual inspections & maintenance you will help extend the life of your saddle & keep your ride comfortable. Here are a few things we recommend checking on an annual basis:

✅ Cantle: If your cantle is starting to feel less supportive, you can re-stuff the cantle through the opening in the front of the cantle by adding more stuffing.
✅ Panels: Open the underside of your saddle by separating the two sides at the gullet & feel the felt or foam panels. If they are feeling like they don’t have a lot of “give” or rebound, it may be time to replace them. Typically panels need replacing every 3-5 years.
✅ Stirrup Leathers: The Multi-point attachment stirrup leathers that come with your saddle should be inspected regularly for hole wear - as with any saddle.
✅ Billet Straps: Monitor the wear of your billet straps, just as with any other saddle. Condition the billet straps lightly and frequently.

Of course, if you are at the point of needing replacement parts, we've got you covered through our large selection of replacement parts & accessories ➡️ https://www.sensationride.com/collections/replacement-parts

Unsure if a piece of your saddle needs replacing or not sure how to do it? Reach out to us and we will give you a helping hand! 👋
