Your diet reveals a lot more about you than you may think 🍎

Your diet will expose you through a variety of obvious tells, such as your hair, skin, teeth, body fat & smell. Unknown to most, your diet is also exposed through a fair amount of not so obvious tells.

Your body language, choice of words, mood fluctuation, ability to deal with stressful situations, friends, education, employment. All of these character traits & skills can be directly impacted by your diet.

The standards you set for your nutrition are a clear resemblance of the standards you set for life. By focusing on being health conscious when shopping & making health conscious food choices, you will be exposed by your diet positively, you will resemble a high standard individual.

Cut out the refined sugars & starches. Enter into a whole food nutrition practice, eat like a normal human. Before you know it your nervous system will calm down, you’ll begin to think rationally & you’ll start making better life choices all together.

CoachConnorB coaching services are making a comeback 🧨

Over the last year I experienced a lot, changed for the better & thought it would be best to minimize all my stressors as I worked on myself.

I’ve continued nearly all my practices, getting stronger, faster & leaner in the shadows & I feel like I have a lot of great tools to share.

I will be focusing my training more towards Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, however, a lot of what I will be sharing will be applicable to nearly all sports or even non athletes.

Exercises, stretches, workouts, meals, diets, supplements, meditation, cold exposure, affirmations, active rest methods, sleep, hydration, Im going to be covering it all.

If there’s any topics you’d like to see me cover, just give a shout & I’ll see what’s possible.

This was an incredibly nice feeling.

Over the last year I have poured nearly everything into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & over the last year it has given nearly everything in return.

I have found a second home, an amazing group of friends, a beautiful partner, many life lessons & a sport I will continue until I can’t.

I’m incredibly honoured to achieve my Blue Belt & I will be continuing to earn it everyday.

Joe, thank you for your trust & respect, I will make you proud 🤙🏼

How much time do you spend in the present moment each day? ☀️

We’ve all probably heard the saying, don’t forget to stop and smell the roses..

Now this could mean multiple things. Don’t forget to enjoy the journey, don’t forget to admire beauty, & relating to what I want to talk about, don’t forget to ground yourself to the current moment in time.

I strongly believe with social media & fear based news, majority of us live lives which are focused in either the past or the future.

Majority of us spend so much of our energy focused on what did or what could happen.
Majority of us rob ourselves from the current moment on a daily basis 💭

Taking the time to smell the roses can literally save your life. Taking the time to let go of all other moments in time allows your body, mind & spirit to rest. Taking the time to be present allows you to collect & use your energy for the here & the now.

Free yourself from the stress of the past & the future, find ways to be in the moment, find that inner peace you deserve.

Being more present has been a large focus for myself over the last 2 years. It allows me to respond instead of react, it allows me to be happy instead of anxious, & it allows me to connect with my highest self, the Connor I want to be.

I love living in the moment.

A great tool I use to bring myself back to centre is the tunes called out by my neighbouring birds. I step outside, find the sun, close my eyes & listen. Those chirps hit my soul clear as day & I can literally feel the stress wash away as my heart beat slows.

Such a simple & effective ritual which brings me a step closer to my goals every time.

Today Landsdowne Park, Tomorrow Madison Square Garden

In all honesty though, I had a blast yesterday. Being there with my team after months of training & preparing. Celebrating with my team, sharing our experiences, the laughs & nerves. What a great memory to have in my vault.

I can’t thank Joe, Damien & all my training partners enough, they’ve all helped me improve so much.

Overall recap of the day, 3 wins 0 losses. A DQ for a no show, win by points 3-0 & win by decision.

My very first Gold medal in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!

What are my post tournament thoughts? I’d like to dial it in even more, zone right in on another tournament & bring forth an even better shape/game, mentally & physically. Lots of Drilling, Movement, Workouts & Meditations. Nutritionally I killed it, came in with as much weight as allowed & in a great condition.

Take away from this that I’d like to share,

Whatever you want to do in life. If you really want it, chase it, go at it with all you can & the odds you achieve it, significantly increase.

Thank you to everyone who reached out, I am incredibly appreciative of your support, thank you to my parents for coming to watch, & thank you again to my amazing team.
