Our final of the year. For the third year in row Ashton and the crew headed to the track with a championship in their sights, and once again they delivered, winning the Scotia Speedworld Maritime Pro Stock Tour 200 lap finale for the 4th year in a row, and wrapping up the championship to be back to back Fort Garry Industries Maritime Pro Stock Tour Champions.

It was a very competitive race with a strong field of cars, Ashton would start deep in the field and be as low as 16th early on patiently waiting for the field to sort out, pitting for some minor adjustments, then methodically working his way to the front, before fending off challenges and maintaining the gap to secure the win and the championship.

We will have more to share in the coming weeks and lots of people and sponsors to thank.

Today we want to say congratulations to Owen Mahar and his DM Motorsports team on the Rookie of Year win along with his runner up finish in the championship. A model of consistency throughout the year, he kept us honest and clearly will be a championship contender for years to come.
