Looking for something for your kids that's more than screen time? 🐴

Our new Equine Youth Group gives youth a place to show up every Tuesday, work alongside horses, and build skills that carry into school, friendships, and home life: communication, confidence, responsibility, and teamwork.

Every session follows our structured Building Block curriculum, guided by Tawnie Fehr, a Certified Equine-Assisted Learning Facilitator. Safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and fully insured.

Groups are capped at 12 participants, so everyone gets real hands-on time.

🕠 Ages 13–19: 5:00–6:30 PM

Something new is happening at FEHR! 🐴

We're launching our Equine Youth Group, a structured, hands-on program built on the same Building Block curriculum as our Equine-Assisted Learning sessions, now in a weekly format that's easier to fit into your family's schedule.

📅 Tuesdays, weekly until December 15

This is a non-riding program, no horse experience needed. Just kids, horses, and real skill-building: confidence, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Led by Tawnie Fehr, Certified Equine-Assisted Learning Facilitator. Fully insured facility, just 12 minutes from Quesnel.

That's one of our core beliefs at FEHR and it's at the heart of everything we teach in our EAL program. We're not here to hand participants easy wins. We're here to help them push past doubt, try, fail, adjust, and succeed. With horses as the guide every step of the way.

Our Foster Care and Social Services Programs are custom-designed to meet participants where they are. Horses offer something rare: a non-judgmental space to build trust, process emotions, and practice new skills at a comfortable pace. If you work with a foster or social services organization, we'd love to connect.

By the middle of our 12-session program, something shifts. Participants who started nervous are problem-solving with their horse partner. Kids who struggled to speak up are practicing assertiveness. This is where the real growth happens and it's why we take the "building block" approach seriously.
