Congratulations to Reaper Kim Payzant, Inferno Kasey Aiello, and the rest of the Western Lights on their first place win at the first ever Canadian Women's Wheelchair Rugby National Championship. The Alberta contingent included Ashley Munro and Kendall Winter who helped the Central Lights battle their way to the final game. These women are wheelchair rugby pioneers and are going to be role models for all the women who discover the sport over the next few years.
