After an emotional week, I’m finding my way gently back to the ordinary rituals that hold me.
Coffee in my new favourite mug. A chance to read a book, The Land of Painted Caves by Jean M. Auel, in peace. A little pause before life asks me to move forward again.
We said goodbye to our sweet sugar glider, Bindy, and then, suddenly, my grandmother. Grief has a way of changing things, making even the simplest morning feel both heavier and more precious.
So today, I’m not rushing the return to “normal.” I’m letting it be soft. I’m letting coffee be warm medicine, stories be shelter, and memory be a kind of love that still has somewhere to go.
Perhaps healing is not a clean return to who we were. Perhaps it is spring arriving quietly beneath the soil…unseen at first, but still reaching for the light.
For Bindy. For Grandma. For the tender hearts we carry with us. 🖤☕️
Cheers to a new day! 💗🙏

Welcome—I’m so glad you are here. 💗🙏
I created R.J.O. Wellness for women who are tired of feeling like wellness has to be complicated, restrictive, or another thing to “get right.”
If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, frustrated that your old routines no longer fit, or simply ready for more supportive ways to care for yourself, this is your space.
Here you will find realistic tools for real life:
✅ Yin yoga and gentle movement
✅ Breathwork and nervous-system support
✅ Mindfulness and mindset practices
✅ Simple wellness rituals
✅ Conversations that replace pressure with self-trust
You will not find perfection here.
You will find encouragement, information, practices you can actually use, and invitations to go deeper when you are ready.
Start by following along, saving what supports you, and choosing one small thing you can do for yourself today. 💗

When your mind is racing, you do not need to add another complicated wellness task to your day.
Start with one minute.
This simple practice is an invitation to pause, soften your shoulders, and take five comfortable breaths—allowing the exhale to be just a little longer than the inhale.
There is nothing to perfect.
There is no need to breathe deeply if that does not feel good.
Simply let your breath be natural, gentle, and easy.
Try it before a meeting, while sitting in the car, after a stressful moment, or before bed.
Save this post so it is there when you need a small reset. 💗🙏
