Congratulations to Kathy and Dennis Dreher on their finishes at the Blackfoot ultra near Edmonton on Saturday. The Blackfoot is a trail race colloquially known as Death by a 100 hills. Both Drehers ran the 50 km event - Kathy finished in 6:26, and Dennis finished in 6:50. No age groups - but how’s this for a couple of 60 year olds - Kathy was 12th W and Dennis was 37th M! Congratulations!

Congrats to the Regina runners who completed the Saskatchewan marathon and half-marathon today. It was a warm one, but we got it done! Special congrats to Darbi Edwards, the women’s marathon winner, Christopher Stoppler, our fastest male runner; Sonia Rees (our former MM member) who was the fourth woman; and to Lane Rathgeber who set a PR (!!) and won his age division. Prince Singh also set a PR and earned his first sub-3 marathon!

Our Pres, Michael Dahlman, was the two hour pace bunny in the half-marathon, and finished within a perfect 3 seconds. Rod Nielsen also did a great job of pacing the 2:30 group.
