Welcome to this week’s FINALS FLASHBACK!

This week, we’re heading back to the opening night of the 2025 CCA Finals Rodeo, where Cian Daly put together a strong ride in the Ba****ck Riding.

Daly matched up with City Creek of Prairie Rodeos, the 2024 Canadian Cowboys Association Ba****ck Horse of the Year and the two delivered a 75.5 point performance to kick off the Finals.

When a talented ba****ck rider meets one of the CCA’s top bucking horses on the Finals stage, it’s the kind of matchup rodeo fans love to see. Daly answered the challenge and put together a solid ride when the pressure was on.

Moments like these are what the Finals are all about the CCA’s top contestants matching up with some of the best livestock in the business, all under the bright lights of championship weekend.

Now, with just two rodeo weekends remaining in the 2026 regular season, the race to the CCA Finals is coming down to the wire. Every ride, every run and every point matters as contestants make their final push to secure their spot at this year’s Finals.

THE CCA FINALS RODEO IS COMING TO NORTH BATTLEFORD!

The 63rd Annual Canadian Cowboys Association Finals Rodeo hits the Access Communications Centre October 22–25, 2026!

And this year, we’re doing things a little differently!

NO ADVANCE TICKET SALES — tickets will be available at the door!

💥 THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIAL! 💥
Come Thursday night and grab a WEEKEND PASS for ONLY $70! That gets you in for the whole weekend of rodeo action!

Thursday night will be RUSH SEATING, so get there early, pick your seat and settle in for a great night!

Welcome to this week’s FINALS FLASHBACK!

This week, we’re heading back to the 2024 CCA Finals Rodeo, where multiple-time CCA Finals Champion Stacey Cornet delivered a championship caliber performance in the Tie Down Roping.

With another title within reach, Cornet showcased the speed and consistency that has made him one of the sport’s best. During Performance #3, he stopped the clock in a blazing 9.9 seconds to capture the go round win and take another big step toward securing the 2024 CCA Finals Tie-Down Roping Championship.

Just two years earlier, at the 2022 CCA Finals, Cornet announced what many believed would be his retirement from rodeo. Fortunately for fans of the sport, that retirement didn’t last long and his return has only added to an already remarkable legacy.

Moments like these are what the Finals are all about where experience, determination and championship grit come together when it matters most.

Now with the 2026 season already at its midway point, the race to this year’s CCA Finals is heating up. Every run counts as contestants continue their push toward championship weekend.

This week, we’re looking back to the Championship Sunday performance at the 2024 CCA Finals Rodeo, where Ben Fogarty of Tamworth, NSW, Australia made the most of his final trip out.

Although he wasn’t in contention for the overall Finals championship, Fogarty made his Championship Sunday ride count, posting a 74.5 point ride to win the final round of the ba****ck riding. It was a standout performance that showcased his talent, determination and ability to rise to the occasion.

Moments like these remind us that every round matters. Even when a championship is out of reach, there’s always an opportunity to leave your mark and Fogarty did just that.
