Very pleased to announce that our Fall tournament this year will be delivered in partnership with the folks at the Atlantic Entertainment Expo!

We'll be opening registration for longsword and sword and buckle soon, and of course: registration for our fall intro course is open in Moncton! DM or email [email protected] for more details!

You may have seen the MSS doing sword demonstrations at our Charlottetown events in the past, but Moncton is going to be a little different!

We are thrilled to announce that the MSS will be hosting their regional tournament at AEX! Get ready to watch skilled competitors face off in Longsword and Sword & Buckler throughout the weekend!🤺

They’ll also have a table where you can learn more about historical fencing and HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts), including their programs teaching the fundamentals of military sabre and longsword. If you’ve ever wanted to start your HEMA journey, this is your chance to learn more!

The Moncton Highland Games 2026 Broadsword and Military Sabre tournament yesterday went off beautifully! Unfortunately due to weather we had to use our back up venue. With 51 registrations from as far away as Rimouski, the field was competitive, comradely and excellent.

We'll be posting a full event write up with information on the results for all four divisions. Until then, here are a few pictures of our fencers, most of the finalists and a big THANK YOU to all participants, organizers and our partners at the Moncton Highland Games
