We are busy getting ready for this year's Kids Summer Derby
9 weeks of fishing fun begins July 1st and ends September 5/26.
Derby packages/buttons will be available to print in June.

Regretfully, we're sad to learn of George Deliman's passing a few weeks back.

George was a long time volunteer & he faithfully fulfilled his Friday afternoon shift at the launch ramp for many years.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

The 50th Annual Spring Salmon Derby presented by Scotty Fishing Products has concluded & we recently wrapped things by presenting the awards to all of our winners. Special thanks to Marty Mako - Port Dalhousie Ward City Councillor for making time to attend & help hand out prizes to the winners.

Big congratulations to Eric Farlow our grand prize winner. He won $10,000 for the biggest overall Salmon plus an additional $4,000 for the biggest Salmon during weeks 1 & 2 with 23.12lbs

Special congratulations as well to Kyler Jenckes who won the Jr Division with a 20.12lb Salmon & took home a DAS KING Fishing kayak courtesy of Broadline Outdoors.

A huge thank you to everyone as we celebrated this milestone year for this event. Volunteers, weigh stations, ticket outlets, sponsors & of course all of our participants.

Finally thank you to the St Catharines Canadian Polish Society for hosting us. What a great facility!

As the derby draws near to the end, we had 3 entries today for the Jr Division

Jillian Bakker weighed a 6.88lb Rainbow Trout

Benny Dearden weighed a 16.94lb Lake Trout

Keigan Bunting weighed a 4.68lb Rainbow Trout

Scales will close at 6pm on Saturday

Winners will be personally notified shortly after.

Kevin Hampson weighed in a 22.42lb Salmon today at St. Catharines Marina. Kevin was fishing with fellow club members aboard Krazy Kings Sportsfishing
He now currently leads Week #8 for $2000 & is in 2nd overall.
