The Columbia Shuswap Selkirks Swim Club is committed to developing through training and competition the potential of all swimmers, from novice to advanced.
The club promotes swimming as a lifelong sport and seeks to not only develop swimming potential, but also skills for life such as sportsmanship, confidence and leadership. Good Luck to Landen who was selected to compete this weekend at the BC Summer Games! He will be representing the Thompson Okanagan along with 19 other swimmers from the region.

The Selkirks had an awesome last meet of the 2025/2026 swim season! The Summer BC Provincials was a great meet with some very fast racing!!
Finn got 1 gold (200 back) 1 silver (100 back) and 3 bronze (50 back, 100 & 200 free) and a new Jr Trial time in the 100 free.
Felix got 2 bronze (100 & 200 back)
Dane got 1 gold (50 fly) and a new club record!

Swim BC Summer Provincials starts tomorrow!! Selkirk’s are sending 6 swimmers to compete July 16-19 in Kamloops! It’s gonna be an awesome event with tons of fast swimmers!

Dane and Finn had an excellent meet at the Bell Canada Swimming Trials in Montreal QC. They both had awesome swims, getting best times in 6/7 of their events. Finn had 3 top 17 finishes, Dane finished 13th in his 50 fly and achieved his first Canadian Open time. It was an incredible event and a great learning opportunity for the boys.

Finn and Dane are off to Montreal to swim at the 2026 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials! 5 days of swimming with the fastest swimmers in Canada! Congrats to you both.

Selkirk’s had an amazing showing last weekend at the 2026 Summer Divisionals in Vernon.
We had 10 separate swimmers win a medal, a new provincial qualifier and too many best times and great swims to count!
This is the last meet for most of the club and was an excellent way to end their season!
