The biggest myth we hear: "My muscles are tight, so I just need to stretch more."
But tight doesn't always mean short.
Sometimes your body feels tight because it's protecting something.
Poor control.
Limited strength.
An irritated joint.
A muscle often works overtime when something else around it isn't doing its job.
Ever stretched your neck every day, only for it to feel tight again an hour later?
That may be your body asking for more strength and support, not more flexibility.
Stretching can help, but it isn't always the complete solution.
If the root cause isn't addressed, the tightness may keep coming back.
At Achieve Movement Health Clinic, we don't just chase the feeling of tightness.
We look at how you move, how you handle load, and what your body may be trying to protect.
Because the goal isn't a lifetime of stretching.
It's moving freely without wondering if you'll tighten up again.
Save this if stretching only seems to provide temporary relief. ⬇️
