What an incredible week at the 2026 APA Northeast Challenge! 🎱

Our first trip to the Northeast Challenge is officially in the books, and what an experience it was. While we want to share the results, they are only a part of the story!

Our players had an absolute blast competing against APA and CPA members from across North America while representing Newfoundland and Labrador for the very first time at this prestigious event.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
The venue itself exceeded every expectation. Mohegan Sun is absolutely massive, with restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and one of the nicest pool venues we've ever seen. All that without ever leaving the building! While the trip certainly wasn't cheap, prices at the resort were surprisingly reasonable. If only the Canadian dollar cooperated a little more! 😄

💥IMPORTANT: MEMBERSHIP FEES
If you have a NEW member or a RETURNING UNPAID member joining, tell them NOT to pay their membership fees ONLINE, prior to August 15th.

2026 Membership Fee: $34.50
If paid after August 15th, 2026, your 2027 membership fee, due in December, will only be $17.50.

All unpaid members MUST pay membership fees to league office on the first night they play or by week 4 of the session.

⚠️Teams who have an unpaid player play a match will lose bonus points for that week.

⚠️Any players listed on the roster unpaid after week 4 will be removed from the roster. They can be added back before we print week 7 scoresheets, as long as membership fees are paid first.

🤔What you need to do:
1️⃣Email [email protected] to request an unpaid player to be added to your roster PRIOR to 4:30pm the day of league.
2️⃣ Have the player bring CASH for membership and league fees and have them complete a PAPER membership form their first night of play!

💵All membership fees paid to league office prior to August 15th will be noted so no bonus points are lost and will be processed in the system after August 15th.

Note: This ONLY applies to players joining for the Fall session.

EMAIL us the players full name and player number if they accidentally paid before August 15.

⚠️Players do not have access to their online account and app login until membership fees are paid and member form is added to the system.

This weekends singles qualifiers are cancelled due to not having enough registrations. Those who registered will be contacted.

Registration numbers are not yet where they need to be!

Less than 24 hours remain to register. Any boards that do not have 12 players registered by 10AM tomorrow morning WILL be cancelled.

Register ASAP so we can confirm what boards are full!

This is a great opportunity to get qualified for Singles Regionals and it would be a shame to see it cancelled!
