What a weekend!

We are busily working on installing the labyrinth and the plants. A nice addition to our place. 🌞

Happy Trails, Rubin Manning 🤠

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Rubin Manning, a man who became a treasured part of our Off Grid Adventure family.

We loved having Rubin over for Indian food. He earned his spice tolerance!🌶️🫠 and he never said no to Faye's butter tarts and peanut butter cookies. 🍪

Together, Rubin and I (Salma) launched "Ride Like a Cowboy" lessons, where he shared a lifetime of genuine cowboy knowledge, and we were all lucky to learn from him. His patience, his skill, and that dry cowboy humour made every learning opportunity something special. We were all left not just better riders, but better for having known him.

Every time we pull up to the campground, we will look toward their cabin and picture him and Karen out there working, pausing to give us that wave hello.

Rubin will be honoured in our new Meditation Park, where he will forever be part of this land and this community.
