Youth sports can build confidence, resilience, and friendships but only when kids feel supported, not pressured.

This story is a powerful reminder that even the most dedicated athletes can lose their love for the game when the focus shifts away from their happiness and well-being.

At Canlan Sports, we believe sports should be about the experience. Developing skills, having fun, and creating a lifelong love of being active. Sometimes that means pushing forward, and sometimes it means listening, taking a step back, or even letting go.

If you’re a sports parent, this is an important read on finding the balance between supporting your child and putting too much pressure on them.

Our lives revolved around her sports. Then she quit before her senior season. This is what youth sports parents need to know.

Happy 192 Years to the City that lives and breathes the game! We had such a blast connecting with so people interested in learning to skate and play hockey, and those that just wanted to show off their puck handling skills.

The energy, excitement, and fireworks were something we'll never forget. Until next year, Toronto.
