This past Saturday, we celebrated our Kids Class Grading Ceremony and recognized the hard work, discipline, consistency, and progress our young athletes have shown on the mats.

Grading is more than moving up in rank—it’s a chance to look back at how far they’ve come and celebrate the skills, resilience, and confidence they’ve built along the way.

We’re incredibly proud of every student who stepped on the mats. Congratulations on a well-earned milestone! ❤️

The beginning stages of BJJ and MMA are hard. You’re learning how to move, how to breathe, how to react — all while trying to remember a hundred things at once.

Sisters don’t always agree.

Some days you’re laughing together. Other days you’re pushing each other’s buttons. Training together isn’t always easy—but that’s where the growth happens.

Iron sharpens iron. Every round, every challenge, every hard conversation makes you both a little stronger.

The mats have a way of teaching us that respect is earned, resilience is built, and family isn’t about never disagreeing—it’s about choosing each other anyway.

At the end of the day, medals fade, competitions end, and bruises heal.

There’s a reason we keep coming back to the basics.

The fundamentals may not always be flashy, but they’re what everything else is built on. Every sweep, submission, escape, and transition starts with a solid foundation. Tonight’s gi class is another reminder that progress isn’t found in shortcuts — it’s found in the countless reps, details, and discipline that happen day after day.

The higher you climb, the more important the fundamentals become.
