Toronto's Finest Rugby Club. Established in 1954. Toronto Saracens was initially formed in 1953, but formally established in 1954.
It was formed from the sum of players branching out from the Toronto Irish, Nomads and Barbarians. All of those clubs had an overabundance of players at that time. Back then, the rugby games were played at High Park. After the games the team would visit the various local pubs in and around the area. It was there, in one of those establishments (not too sure which one), that the Toronto Saracens Ru

The Toronto Saracens celebrated some of our high school athletes this past Monday and we’re glad to say the Jamboree was a success!
It’s wonderful to see the sport grow in the city and we are happy to help provide athletes with a space where they feel comfortable and make new friends 🏉💚

High Park. Fletcher’s Fields. Sunnybrook Park.
Every chapter of this club has had a home. It started in 1954 with a group of Lads branching off from other clubs, playing at High Park, then heading to the local pubs to figure out what they were building. What they built lasted 70 years.
Fletcher’s Fields became more than a pitch. Generations of Saracens ran those lines, won on those fields, and shared something after the final whistle that had nothing to do with the score. Last year, we said goodoye.
Now we’re here. Sunnybrook Park is our new home and a home only becomes one when people show up and make it feel that way.
Training is on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. Whether you played with us years ago or you’ve never picked up a ball, you’re welcome on the pitch. Come help us make Sunnybrook feel like Fletcher’s always did.
Summer Training | Monday & Wednesday 6:30 PM
DM us to get started.
