We are a Non-Commercial training environment committed to making WSLVT work for the individual. WSLVT is a SYSTEM that is Simple, Direct, and Efficient in its application. The difference between a "System" and a "Style" is that WSLVT offers function not fashion. Concrete skills for the concrete world. CONCEPTS, STRUCTURES, and ACTIONS practiced through Siu Nim Tau, Chum Kiu, Biu Jee, and Mook Yan Jong (Wooden Dummy) Forms. Various drills, exercises, Chi Sau, and other training methods are also employed to support the angles and mechanics which will result in ACTIONS that come alive with the right response, for the right or wrong situations. We are an intimate and interactive training environment without belts, sashes, or seniority. The community of practitioners is in constant interaction with one another regardless of experience level. S3VT's 5 System Syllabus offers a comprehensive training format that challenges conventional methods to achieve the high skill and power that the WSLVT system offers. The System is designed to empower an individual of any martial arts experience, athleticism, body type, or age, as it best works for you. The skills one develops continually evolve and improve developing skilful fighting actions. We also host workshops throughout the year locally and with esteemed international WSLVT Instructors from around the world. Dwight Hennings has been a practitioner of martial arts since the age of 4 and a practitioner of WSLVT since 1996 under his Sifu Lawrence Leung Chee Sing who was one of Wong Shun Leung's top students, assistant instructors, and seminar tourmate. In March '97, Dwight trained intensely under Sifu Leung until the school's closing in February '04 where he continued testing and honing fighting skills through challenge matches, working as security, and the pavement arena. Coach Hennings began teaching a semi-private student base in '04 with modern training methods to develop practitioners of high skill in the Wong Shun Leung Ving Tsun (WSLVT) System. Continuing to learn and train with annual visits to seminars conducted by friends and peers Sifus John Smith & David Peterson. In '08 being a live-in, private student of Sifu Gary Lam receiving a certificate of Outstanding Level. S3VT is constantly evolving and expanding to satellite locations in Toronto to accommodate a growing student base. S3VT hosts many credible instructors from around the world with public WSLVT Workshops accessible to all experience levels. tags:
