Salsa Shines Challenge + Intermediate Partner Work🔥

Join us May 30th at Crystal Falls Studio in Niagara Falls from 2–4 PM for a 2-hour Salsa workshop.

Hour 1: Salsa Musicality & Shines Challenge
Challenge yourself to learn 8 counts of Salsa On2 shines. This Salsa mix will have Son, Rumba, and Mambo.

This is not a beginner class. Salsa experience is definitely needed because we’ll be moving forward to cover all 8 counts in the series.

Why 8? In Salsa musicality, the big musical changes usually happen every 4 counts of 8: every 32 beats. This allows us to cover two big changes in the selected songs.

Hour 2: Salsa Intermediate Partner Work
The main focus will be Salsa fundamentals in core moves, and applying those fundamentals in social dancing partner work (eg change of place & traveling turns variations etc).

For dancers with some Salsa experience who want to explore Salsa musicality, shines, and partner work further.
