Afro-Cuban technique in Yemaya & Contemporary rhythms is our final series before taking an extended summer break!🏖 We're super excited to be doing this focused series across 4 Sundays in July, after which we will be taking the rest of the summer off.🎉 If you've been delaying taking classes with us on Afro-Cuban Sundays, then this is it!
Sundays 12-1pm Dovercourt Dance House w/ none other than Sarita Leyva guiding us through the steps, body movement, and rhythms of 2 central Yemaya rhythms & then into Afro-Cuban Contemporary.

Rumba & Son choreo incoming! This 4-week series is focused on learning & dancing to the Cuban Son & Rumba Guaguanco breaks in the selected music. The timing, steps, musicality, intention and body movement of both Cuban Son & Rumba Guaguanco will be taught, practiced, and explored further in this series by none other than Sarita Leyva
**This series is not for complete beginners, its for dancers with some experience in Cuban Son & Rumba Guaguanco that want to explore these dances deeper in a song that fuses both.🪘🪘
