๐ฅ TRUE SELF-DEFENSE IS MORE THAN JUST ONE MARTIAL ART.
Self-defense originally encompasses every technique necessary to protect yourselfโincluding kicking, punching, grabbing, throwing, choking, joint locking, and even escaping from danger.
Over time, these techniques were separated and developed into individual combat sports such as Taekwondo, Boxing, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Each discipline has evolved into a specialized sport, focusing on only certain aspects of the complete system of self-defense.
Therefore, mastering a single martial art does not necessarily mean mastering self-defense.
True self-defense requires learning and integrating all these techniquesโstriking, grappling, throwing, submissions, and escaping.
Real self-defense is not about winning medals or following competition rules. It is about having the ability to protect yourself in real-life situations.
