Road trip. Away game. Full effort. 🦘
Didn’t walk away with the result we wanted in Ottawa this weekend, but this team fought to the very last second — no quit in us. That’s the standard.
Massive shoutout to our Roo Beauty recipient this game, Hunter 🌟 — playing her very first official game as a Kangaroo and giving relentless effort from start to finish. That’s exactly the energy we build around. Welcome to the family, Hunter — proud of you.
Back at it this Saturday!💪🦘

Double the teams, double the energy! 🦘🔥😈
Tonight the Etobicoke Kangaroos joined forces with the High Park Demons for a big training session. We sharpened our skills, put in the work, and finished the night with a competitive handball scrimmage. 💪🏉
Nothing better than growing the game together. Thanks for the great session, Demons! 🤝

ONE. POINT. 🤯🦘
The Roos dug deep, fought until the final siren and came out on top by just one point! Every contest, tackle and effort mattered in a true team win.
Today’s Roo Beauty Award goes to Marlies, who got out there today and was encouraged to go for the ball and make an impact. Congratulations, Marlies Marlies ! 💙💛

What a battle. 💙
Our Roos put together a determined four-quarter effort against the Toronto Blues last weekend. We matched their intensity, fought at the contest, and never stopped competing. In the end, the Blues were able to pull away in the final quarter, but we’re incredibly proud of the grit, heart, and resilience our team showed from the first bounce to the final siren.
Every game is another opportunity to grow, and we’re already looking forward to building on this performance in the weeks ahead.
A huge congratulations goes to this week’s Roo Beauty Award recipient, Amy amy ! 🏆
As one of our exciting new rookies this season, Amy has embraced what it means to be a Roo. She brings relentless effort, and a willingness to learn every time she steps onto the field. She embodies our club’s core values of being Unified and Relentless, both on and off the field, making her a well-deserved recipient of this week’s honour.

Congratulations, Amy! We can’t wait to see what the rest of your rookie season has in store. 💙🦘

🔴💥 WEAR RED ROUND 💥🔴
This weekend, the Etobicoke Kangaroos proudly stand in support of Wear Red Round.
Our players will wear two red armbands:
♦️ One to honour women lost to gender-based violence.
♦️ One to call for accountability and safer spaces in sport.
Violence in sport isn’t always visible. It can show up through exclusion, intimidation, silencing, microaggressions, or people choosing not to speak up. As a club and community, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported both on and off the field.
Wear Red Round is about more than awareness — it’s about action, accountability, and creating lasting cultural change in sport.
To everyone in our AFL Ontario community — players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and clubs — we invite you to stand with us this round and wear red.
📸 We’ll be wearing our red armbands proudly on game day.

Thursday night footy under blue skies and sunshine ☀️
Coach Kent kept the energy high with dynamic game-scenario drills, quick hands, and plenty of handball work to sharpen those instincts. We wrapped things up with a friendly goal kicking competition and a whole lot of laughs. The season is getting closer and the squad is building nicely every week! 🦘🏉
Practices are every Tuesday at 6:30PM — all are welcome to come have a kick!
