🏉 More Than Just a Weekend of Rugby
The Atlantic Rugby Championships are about so much more than the games on the field. This weekend in Charlottetown has been another great reminder of just how much rugby continues to grow across Atlantic Canada — and how strong the community surrounding the sport has become.
Players, coaches, officials, volunteers, families and supporters from across the Atlantic provinces have all come together at UPEI for a weekend of competition, development and connection. You can feel the passion for rugby everywhere around the fields, and events like this are an important part of continuing to build the game for the next generation.
A huge thank you as well to UPEI for being such an incredible host. The facilities and fields have provided a fantastic setting for an event of this size and have helped create a championship atmosphere that these young athletes deserve.
It has been exciting to see the level of rugby being played, but even more exciting to see the community behind it. Every team, every family in the stands, every volunteer and every person helping make the weekend possible is contributing to the continued growth of rugby in Atlantic Canada.
