The single biggest thing that has kept me and our clients going is a good training partner or partners.
Someone to suffer through the hard workouts with. Someone who notices when you don't show up. Someone who makes 6am feel survivable.
If you don't have one, go get one. If you don't know anyone, do the uncomfortable first step of joining a group fitness gym. Go enough times that people have to get to know you.
We give up on health goals because we come up with 1000 new ones a year and only live one year at a time.
You can dream up a new plan faster than you can be consistent with one plan for a lon g period of time.
So drop most of them. The one you actually stick with is the one that counts.

Get to your gym as much as you can but summer is likely looking different for your ability to match your schedule with in person workouts like you did in the winter.
Don't give up. Just do it differently. Maybe that's shorter workouts, maybe it's bodyweight workouts, maybe it's workouts on the beach.
Even 1-3x a week goes a long way for your progress come September!

Don't expect someone who doesn't understand your health goals to understand what you're willing to give up to hit them.
The late nights. The wine. The social stuff. The fast food.
They're not going to get it. You don't need them to.
Small habits truly compound over time.
I know it feels like nothing but surely if you walked for 10 more minutes a day, ate one more serving of fruits and veggies and drank 250ml more water you would be feeling better than last week.
And then feeling better may lead to motivation to do a little more. Then a little more......
It's not perfect, but it works well!

I built an at home/anywhere workout plan for you with beginner, intermediate and advanced options. You can chose bodyweight, bands only or with dumbbells.

Tough Matt. If you expect reaching your goals is going to be easy then you are likely to fail pretty quickly.
Reaching any goal takes effort and sacrifice. But that builds resilience and makes reaching your goals that much sweeter.
A bad week doesn't mean YOU are bad or something is wrong with you. It's a part of a normal journey to any health or life goals. You are a good person who has normal ups and downs. Keep going!
