Kayla Henry is a mother, award-winning choreographer, performer, and movement educator based on the unceded Coast Salish Territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ nations. A graduate of The School of Contemporary Dancers (BFA), Kayla danced for three seasons with Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers and worked extensively as a freelance artist hired by various companies and choreographers before founding Victoria’s, Noble Riot Dance Theatre, in 2021.

Since 2011, Kayla’s teaching career has spanned. Her expertise as a guest instructor includes the Alberta Ballet School, Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, and The School of Contemporary Dancers, Canada’s oldest professional contemporary training program.

As both an independent creator and a freelance artist since 2013, Kayla has performed in hundreds of shows across Canada, Europe, and the USA.
