One. Last. Weekend. After Sunday, Whistler Village Gondola closes for scheduled winter maintenance ahead of our target opening date of November 20 for the 2026/27 ski and ride season. A mix of sun and cloud makes for prime conditions to get into the alpine for one last summer hike up to Cloudraker Skybridge; one last summer bite at Roundhouse Lodge; and one last summer beverage at Umbrella Bar. Here's what else is on tap across the resort:

🚵: Last day to ride Creekside and Garbo Zones is Wednesday, September 23. Fitz Zone remains until Canadian Thanksgiving. Don't forget: Fall Passes are on sale now and give you unlimited riding now through October 12.

Here's your guide to race week at Whistler Mountain Bike Park:
🔺 Can-Ski Creekside is going to be transformed into part mountain bike museum, part official UCI x Whistler merchandise store, packed with collectibles, throwback bikes, and limited-edition gear.
🔺 Friday is all about getting up close to the action. Watch training runs, explore the Fan Zone, and meet your favourite athletes at the official autograph session.
🔺 Saturday brings the heat. Nearly 300 athletes take on the course during qualifying, making it one of the most action-packed days of the weekend. Stick around for the après and official afterparties.
🔺 Sunday is finals day. The world's fastest riders racing down the infamous 1199 track to claim the win!

Nothing but sun in the forecast for the weekend - that means summer isn't over quite yet. If you've been meaning to sneak in one more alpine day, now's the time.

Sightseeing is currently available via the Whistler Village Gondola, operating daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. With the Blackcomb Gondola and PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola now closed for the season, this is your last week to ride the Whistler Village Gondola before it closes on September 20.

Looking to go even higher? The Peak Express Chair is open from 11 AM to 4 PM, with its final day of summer operations on September 13.

All hiking trails are currently open, making it a great weekend to enjoy a quieter day in the alpine. Take in the views, stretch your legs, and stop by Umbrella Bar for a well-earned cocktail.

Looking for a little friendly competition? Mini Golf is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM. September 20 marks the final day of the season, so be sure to squeeze in a round before it's gone for the year.

The Whistler Mountain Bike Park is also running daily, with Fitzsimmons open from 10 AM to 5 PM and Creekside and Garbanzo operating from 10 AM to 4 PM. Planning a Top of the World lap? This is your last weekend to experience one of the Bike Park's most iconic trails, featuring rugged alpine terrain, sweeping mountain views, and a descent that takes you all the way back to the village.

A quick travel note: the RBC GranFondo Whistler takes place on Saturday, September 12. Plan ahead and expect reduced speeds, temporary traffic stoppages and delays along Highway 99 between Vancouver to Whistler Village from approximately 5:30 AM to 4 PM.

And looking ahead, the is just a few weeks away. Tickets are selling quickly, with a limited number of gondola-access tickets still available.
