These mobility exercises primarily focus on hip mobility—one of the most important areas for skiing. Good hip mobility can help improve edge angulation, balance, and your ability to roll smoothly onto your edges from the hip joint rather than relying on compensations elsewhere in the body.

Improving mobility takes time, often months rather than weeks, so the off-season is the perfect time to start.
