The clove hitch is a simple but super useful knot in climbing. It’s commonly used to attach yourself to an anchor and is easy to adjust without having to untie the knot completely.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the mountain this summer — we loved having you along for the climb and sharing those views with you.

And of course, a massive thank you to our incredible guide team for making every day on the Via Ferrata so special. ❤️

We’ll see you back up there at the end of May 2027. Until then… we’ll be missing these views and looking forward to climbing to the peak with you again 💪

Happy Tech Tip Thursday! 🧗

Today, Corey is showing us how to tie a Girth Hitch, a simple and versatile hitch used throughout climbing.
This knot is commonly used to connect a personal anchor system to your harness, creating a secure attachment point that stays with you as you move through a climb.

It can also come in handy when securing webbing or cord around objects in the wilderness, like a tree, which can then be incorporated into an anchor system.

We’re back with another Thursday Tech Tip! 🧗

Today, Corey is taking us through a quick tutorial on how to tie a Flat Overhand Knot, an important knot to know when working with rappel ropes.

This knot is commonly used to join two ropes together, creating a secure connection when setting up a rappel system. As with any climbing knot, tying it correctly and checking it properly is key.

Corey’s top tips:
1️⃣ Leave at least 30cm of tail on each side.
2️⃣ When tightening the knot, pull on all four strands of rope to dress it properly.
3️⃣ Push the knot down in two directions to make sure it’s neat, tight and secure.
