The Whitby Wolves U18AA 2026 Summer Camp is officially underway!!

Part of the day was receiving and looking sharp in their NEW practice threads. There's something about how you show up when you look good, and these girls SHOWED UP!

The pace was high from the first whistle. Coach Mike enforced that speed, showed them what it takes to compete, and had them giving it with every single shift. By the end of our day the smiles, and the sweat were on the faces of every single girl, and this is what it's all about.

A new season starts with the work you put in when nobody is watching, and this group is doing just that, while raising the standards for hockey. The skill here is unmistakable.

You can tell a lot about a team before they ever lace up for the first game.

You see it in the way they attack every drill. You hear it in the encouragement, the competitiveness, and the way they bond. Watching these girls come together, have a blast and work hard, is incredible.

The Dryland Moms decided to jump into the mix today too, proving that hockey teams are family. Whether by blood or not.

There was plenty of laughter today, a little friendly chirping, and a few moments where coach Mike kept em in check.

No shortcuts ever from these ladies and no excuses. Another gorgeous summer day doing what they love.

The season never looked so good 😏

Today, our girls dug deep in 26 degree heat. They encouraged each other, worked for each other, and refused to let the temperature become an excuse. Every rep and challenge was met with determination and heart.

We even had some of our dryland dads make an appearance holding down that parking lot and showing their support.

When it’s easy, everyone shows up. When it’s uncomfortable, when your legs are burning, when the heat is draining every ounce of energy you have… and you keep going…
….This is what separates the good from the great.

These girls are building something huge. They have Strength, Skill, Confidence, Accountability.

And if today was any indication, they are ready to hit the ice.

This morning was all rain and cold, and not one of these girls backed down. What was supposed to be dryland training turned into wetland training real fast, but this team kept pushing and grinding. No complaints. No excuses. Just hard work, grit, laughter, and pure determination.

This is what separates teams.

These girls are hungry. They are building. Strength. Discipline. Trust. Heart.

They are coming for it this year.

And they are not coming quietly.
