This is the bait that got me 6th place and Rookie Of The Year this weekend! The X Zone Lures Stealth GBO 13mm in 309 colour. I rigged it on a drop shot rig. I actually ran out of the 309 colour at the end of the day but had the green pumpkin for the picture. I caught every fish I measured that day on this bait!

With my 6th place finish on Falcon Lake, I just snuck in to win the Rookie Of The Year award on the Kickerfish Central Canada Kayak Trail. This will be a day to remember for a very long time. Making my first top 10 and winning my first fishing trophy makes me very excited and will fuel my passion for kayak angling. I already can’t wait for next season to start!

A great way to end the season! My best finish yet on the Kickerfish Central Canada Kayak Trail on Falcon Lake. I ended up coming in 6th place out of a stacked group of anglers! And it was my first time making it into the money!

For those kayak anglers out there, which method of transportation do you prefer more? On the truck or on a trailer? I know it kinda depends on size and weight of the kayak but I just want to know everyone’s opinions. I’m definitely thinking about getting a trailer for next year because the Wilderness Systems Tactical Pro 128 is a beast!
