The Manitoba Rowing Association (MRA) was incorporated in 1981 and is the governing body for the sport in the province. There are four clubs.
Two in Winnipeg, one in Pinawa, and the Kenora Rowing Club.

What an amazing season it has been so far for this talented group of MRA Performance Pathway athletes!
The Team has come together this year and with over a dozen first place finishes in the last few regattas alone it shows their hard work is paying off.

Oh Canada!
Congrats to Lexi on being named to the U23 Canadian national team!
Lexi will be competing in the Women's 8+ at the U23 World Championships from July 23-26, in Duisburg, Germany.

Great session today with six doubles and two singles on the Red. 17.5 kms for the crew with boat washing and snacks after. We are excited about the progress made and what's still to come this season!!

The future of Rowing is in good hands.
Last weekend, The Manitoba Rowing Association was thrilled to have RCA Coach Educator / Facilitator, Garett Mathiason in Winnipeg. Garett led our RCA Coach Weekend 1 Workshop on May 9th and 10th at The Winnipeg Rowing Club.
This enthusiastic and hard working group of coaches is working hard as they become trained and certified as RCA Coaches.
MRA is committed to help strengthen coaching development across the MRA region.
