Arm Balances and Inversions

An all levels approach to finding your lightness, levitating, and defying gravity (kinda!). Get curious and playful as we dive into practices around strength, mobility, and breath so you can FLY.
Lots of options and modifications are given throughout.
This is a workshop style class where questions, assists, and dialogue will take place throughout.
All levels are very welcome to try out this workshop and see where your practice takes you!

VINYASA FUNDAMENTALS

12:00pm - 1:30pm
Working with tristana the “three places” or three focal points: asana (posture), pranayama (breath), and drishti (gaze).
The physical postures are aligned and strengthened through the movement and control of the body.
The use of steady, rhythmic breathing generates internal heat, guides the flow of movement, and helps to focus the mind.
There is the specific point of focus for the eyes during each pose. The Drishti acts as an anchor for the mind, deepening concentration and helping to maintain focus and stability.

Join us at Work It for a Morning Flow alongside an incredible lineup of local wellness instructors and community members coming together in support of .
Challenge for Life is an opportunity to move your body with purpose, raising funds and awareness for all cancers affecting Manitobans while supporting your own well-being along the way.
Work It is the 200-minute non-continuous workout portion of the event, designed to bring movement, community, and encouragement together in an accessible and meaningful way.
