Fifty 5 Fitness is a fitness company that offers group fitness classes and personal training for women ages 55+.

All of our classes and personal training sessions are lead by Certified Seniors' Fitness Instructors and Kinesiology graduates. Fifty 5 Fitness is a place of exercise where no one feels intimidated, overwhelmed or out of place. Clients come in at their own fitness level, and with our Instructors help, they work towards their personal goals.

⭐️Meet Christina and Ted⭐️

Christina has over 250 group fitness classes and personal training sessions under her belt and is making huge strides in increasing her overall strength and mobility! She’s been working hard to re-hab a shoulder injury while simultaneously building strength to avoid further injuries. 👏💪

Ted has been consistently coming to personal training for a couple years now a couple of times a week. He too is working to improve strength and improve his overall fitness level. 💪👏

This recently retired power couple finds time to come to the studio both together and separately to continue working towards their goals! As avid divers and world travelers, both Christina and Ted want to continue to enjoy the things they love for many more years to come. 🤩 They both understand that continuing to work on strength, mobility, balance and coordination will only help them better enjoy the things they love!

Way to go Christina and Ted! We love having you part of our community and are happy to be a part of your fitness journey! 🩵💜

🤩 BIG congratulations to Debbie for hitting her 250th Fifty 5 Fitness class!

Here is what she had to say about her time at the studio:

1. How long have been a member of the studio? I think I’ve been a member for about 4 years. It doesn’t seem that long ago I started.
2. What’s your favourite class(es)?Hmm, favorite classes, the 55 Warrior and the 55 Strength but really, I haven’t done a class that I didn’t like. What I like about these classes are the modifications offered to increase the intensity depending on how my body feels on a particular day. 💪👏

Since I’ve started I feel so much stronger, I sleep better and I have more energy. 🤩💕

I really love Fifty 5 Fitness. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, creative and fun. I feel very lucky to have found this gym! 🥺😍

With 17 years of experience, Cherise is a passionate and dedicated fitness professional . Specializing in Pilates , Group fitness, Dance fitness, Yoga(diverse modalities) Strength and Resistance conditioning, Kids Yoga, and Active Older Adult programming. She holds multiple certifications through the Manitoba Fitness Council, including Group Fitness, Yoga, Pilates, Active Older Adult, and has extensive experience teaching all ages in community centres, schools, and wellness clubs. Cherise is Fully Stott Mat Pilates certified.  She is known for her welcoming, encouraging, and down-to-earth personality - she creates inclusive, engaging classes that are safe, adaptable, and grounded in connection — helping people feel strong, confident, and supported at every stage of life.

Ashley is a group fitness instructor and personal trainer specializing in active aging, functional fitness, and small group training for older adults. With six years of fitness instruction experience and 14 years working as a direct support worker, Ashley brings a compassionate, supportive, and individualized approach to health and wellness.

As a mom of two, Ashley understands the importance of balancing health, strength, and everyday life. She is passionate about helping adults 55+ stay strong, mobile, and independent through functional movement and strength training that supports daily activities and improves quality of life.
Ashley believes in meeting people where they are while also encouraging them to step outside their comfort zones to build strength, confidence, and lasting positive change. She strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel empowered, capable, and motivated at every stage of their fitness journey.

Ashley will be joining us as a group fitness instructor, teaching the 55 TRX Strong class! Let’s give a big warm Fifty 5 and FORM Fitness welcome to our new Instructor Ashley! 🤩🎉

“I’ve really struggled with what to post after my Dad’s passing. Hell, even just posting at all.

How do you follow the post where I told all of you about it? It has a special placeholder in my feed. I can’t push that back. And that hasn’t even been the hardest part of all this.

But he would have wanted us to push on. To continue to do great things.

And so, since movement and simple, actionable drills made such a big impact on him and his battle with cancer, I thought it’s time we help even more people, and what better way than in his memory?

Enter 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲.

Two events scheduled thus far to help all of you achieve better movement and optimal health, because 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗘.

✨ Rosanna hits 500! ✨

We are so incredibly proud of Rosanna for hitting 500 Fifty 5 Fitness classes since May 2023! 🎉

“I’m delighted and grateful to have the privilege to embrace this milestone! 💪🙌👏💕

When I retired in the fall of 2017, one of my goals was to get my fitness back after too many years sitting at my desk! Early in 2018, I took the first step and reached out to Emily and attended my first class at Fifty 5 Fitness and haven’t looked back! 👏

Full credit to Emily, and her dedicated and knowledgeable team for keeping me engaged and helping with modifications for cranky body parts over the years! My workouts are part of my daily routine each week and I couldn’t imagine not working out!!
Thanks for helping me do that! 🥹

I enjoy a variety of classes each week but, the 55 Kettlebells is my favourite challenge! Grateful for each workout!💪🏻
