Wheelchair rugby creates community, camaraderie in Steinbach Steinbach will soon be home to a wheelchair rugby team after a successful tryout event organized by the Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association.

Hugh shout out to everyone that showed up Wednesday to our have-a-go in Steinbach. It was a blast. Now that we know there are enough athletes for a team, we just need a name!🤔🤔🤔 Thought? Couldn’t have done this without the support from Manitoba liquor and lottery. 

Chair maintains is never ending for a rugby team. Getting these baby’s ready to roll on June 10th southeast centre in Steinbach MB. Join us from 1-3 if your in the area.

So proud of our athletes and their performance this weekend the 2026 national championships. The score didn’t go their way but they played hard and never gave up the fight right to the last second of play. Great job team.
