What a ride in Montréal. After more than 270 km of relentless racing, Brandon attacked from the elite group with around 33 km to go and never looked back, holding off the best riders in the world to cross the line alone, 13 seconds ahead of Michael Matthews and Mathieu van der Poel. A rider long known as one of the most loyal teammates in the peloton, Brandon showed yesterday what courage, patience and hard work can achieve. His victory also ends a 33-year wait for an American rainbow jersey in the men’s elite road race. Congratulations, Brandon, and well done to all the riders who made this race one to remember. Wear the rainbow stripes with pride! 👏 🇨🇦🌈🚴🏼‍♂️

A new adventure begins: ! It will be a spectacular event because cycling is the sport that makes us dream 🤩—but it will be that way thanks in part to the behind-the-scenes work of so many people who make sure everything goes well, such as the representatives who handle safety issues and extreme weather conditions! They’ll step in when needed and serve as the group’s spokespersons. The delegates will work to prevent any problems that may arise during each stage. The riders appointed as representatives, on the other hand, will serve as the group’s messengers in the event of extreme weather conditions during the race. It won’t be easy to keep everything running smoothly because this is a long, difficult race, but the team is ready and united for a new adventure. 💪Vamos, compañeros! 🇪🇦🚴

We are speechless and filled with anger after the news of Finlay Tarling’s death at the Tour of Portugal. It is not right that a young athlete’s life should end this way, and we are furious that even today it is still not possible to prevent such serious accidents. We share in the grief of his family, friends, team, and everyone who knew Finlay. Rest in peace, young rider; we pray for you, and we will carry you in our hearts.

We wanted to be different, to resist the temptation to celebrate our beloved riders at every stage of the Tour de France—as fans, insiders, and journalists have been doing systematically, before us and better than us, every single day. But now that we’ve reached the end of the most prestigious and grueling race in the world, how can we remain silent? Every day, including today, we’ve witnessed examples of true and incredible humanity: solidarity, courage, loyalty, resilience, friendship, passion, pride… values that no other sport showcases quite like cycling. Thank you, guys, for the spectacle you’ve given us every day—one that goes far beyond your incredible athletic performances. This is a tribute to everything that a ranking and a stopwatch don’t reveal, but which we, with this humble post, want to honor. 👏🎩😍 🇨🇵🚴🏽‍♂️
