What an incredible week it was with this amazing group from Ohio Christian University ⚽💛
From soccer ministry to time spent serving and building relationships, these guys showed such a genuine heart for others. It was a joy to watch the way they shared the love of Jesus both on and off the field.
The love they have for the Lord and for one another runs deep, and it shows in everything they do.

We are incredibly grateful for our week with Taylor Football. It wasn’t always easy, but through every challenge, they persevered with faith, kindness, and unity. ✨ Athletic Director’s Day ✨
Today, we want to pause to honor all the athletic directors who partner with HPS and make it possible for teams to serve, grow, and experience life-changing moments through sport and ministry. We are so thankful for each of you and the role you play in this work. 🙌
On this Athletic Director’s Day, we also want to take a special moment to honor someone incredibly dear to our HPS family. Darren Richie was a longtime partner, supporter, and friend who made a lasting impact on this ministry here in Costa Rica. Though he passed away two years ago this December, his legacy continues to live on through the countless lives he touched. 💛
He was more than an athletic director — he was a leader with a heart for the Lord, a father figure to many, and a dear friend to our founders and the HPS family. His passion for using sports to make an eternal difference helped shape who we are today, and we are forever grateful for the role he played in this ministry.
Today, we celebrate his life, leadership, and the lasting impact he made on HPS and beyond.
