Enhance Project

🇨🇾 Three productive days in Limassol for the ENHANCE Project Meeting & MOOC Training Session!

From 27–29 May 2026, project partners gathered at Frederick University in Cyprus to review progress, exchange expertise and shape the next phase of the ENHANCE project.

Throughout the meeting, we worked intensively on the development and refinement of our two MOOCs:
🎮 MOOC 1 – Esports Players
👨‍👩‍👧 MOOC 2 – Parents & Guardians

Together with project partners and external expert mentors, we reviewed all ten training modules, discussed content, collected valuable feedback and identified improvements to ensure the MOOCs provide high-quality, practical and engaging learning experiences.

The final day focused on planning the upcoming pilot phase, defining implementation timelines, discussing survey tools and impact assessment activities, and coordinating the next project management and dissemination steps.

Beyond the working sessions, the meeting was also an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration, share perspectives and reinforce our common commitment to promoting safer, more inclusive and socially responsible gaming communities across Europe.

🎮 Yesterday we successfully completed Day 1 of the ENHANCE Project Meeting at Frederick University!

The day focused on project updates and the review of MOOC 1 dedicated to Esports Players.

Throughout the sessions, partners worked together on:

🔹 Review of Modules 1–5
🔹 Feedback exchange and collaborative discussion
🔹 Planning of next steps and future activities

An important opportunity for collaboration, knowledge sharing and collective reflection on how to promote safer, healthier and more inclusive gaming communities across Europe. 🎮💬

The ENHANCE – The Social Side of Esports project was recently presented during a conference held in É𝑣𝑜𝑟𝑎 (𝑃𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑔𝑎𝑙) 𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑃𝐴𝐶𝑇 – 𝐴𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑗𝑜 𝑆𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑇𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑛𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑦 𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑘, 𝑎𝑛 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡 ℎ𝑢𝑏 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐸𝑢𝑟𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑛 𝑐𝑜𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛.

During the session dedicated to exploratory projects, the ENHANCE initiative was showcased, highlighting the project’s mission to better understand the social dynamics of esports and to promote healthy, respectful and inclusive gaming environments for young players.

Events like this are essential to strengthen European cooperation, networking and knowledge exchange, allowing organisations, researchers and stakeholders to discover innovative initiatives developed within the Erasmus+ Sport programme.
