Being a designer sounds like the dream job — and honestly, most days it is. But nobody tells you it also means being a patternmaker, a bookkeeper, a photographer, and a taxi driver, all before lunch.
Running a small brand means wearing basically every hat there is. Some fit better than others (looking at you, sales 👀). But at the end of the day, I still get to design swimwear made from recycled materials — and that part never gets old.
