Goodness me, Roll up sessions on Tuesday mornings are going from strength to strength. We had a record 48 at today’s bubbles. Whilst this is fantastic the numbers are getting too much. Therefore as from today we are setting a limit of 42 players, 7 trips to all roll up sessions. As roll ups are open to visitors, it is recommended that you get there in plenty of time, 9.30 with the numbers being closed at 9.45. Today seen one of the “special” prize days with Ken Gordon winning a 30€ Yoku voucher.

Hi all.

So we have our first winner in the last man standing well done to the big man himself Andy Reid picks up €280 the club gets €90 thanks all for playing new game next week cash and selections by Saturday 12 noon please.

Also we have our first winner on the Buster at the moment westham are on exactly 11. Goals but all tomorrow and Mondays results to come in yet so could be shared but if not then Mary is in for a nice drop as well so again the club will get some,

Well down at QBC this morning great to see all the rinks fully used on a Saturday morning congrats to all who organise this. It’s not an easy task.

Great day at QBC yesterday, when we played the “cash and cava” one day league. Kindly sponsored by Colin and Mel Highland, Despite the heat the day went well. Quite a few spectators enjoyed some good bowling. Thank you to the reserves who turned up and stayed most if not all of the day.
The winners were Tony Denman/Andy Reid.
Runners up, Ian Laws/Jackie Hughes.
And the semi finalists were Alex Jackson/Kim Bowles and Chris Bowles/Trevor Voisey.
What a great start to the season.

Another night time roll up under the lights at QBC, lovely to bowl in slightly cooler conditions. Winners of Chop Shop vouchers were.

What a fantastic night last night, the “bubbles” group having a midnight session of fun bowls. First time in over ten years that there was bowling under the floodlights. Lovely food provided by the club at the midway break.
It was nice and refreshing getting a cooler session of after what has been an exceptionally hot two weeks. Hopefully now that we have found it a success we can do another night session soon, sorry the pictures don’t really do justice.
