차렷 (Charyeot)

Romanisation: Charyeot
English: Attention
In World Taekwondo Poomsae competitions, “Charyeot” is the official command used by the Coordinator to instruct competitors to come to the attention position before the next stage of the competition procedure, such as bowing (Kyeong-rye) and preparing to perform.
This command is fundamental to Taekwondo etiquette and reflects the values of respect, discipline, and concentration that are central to the art.
Did you know?
“Charyeot” is one of the first Korean commands learned by Taekwondo practitioners around the world and is used in training, grading examinations, and official competitions.
