Winnie Dunn, a Tongan-Australian author and editor, has been shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award, which is Australia's most esteemed literary prize.

Dunn takes immense pride in being the first member of her family to obtain a tertiary education and the first Tongan-Australian novelist to be published.
