On behalf of the club, we’d like to wish all the very best to all our players as they return back to school for another year.

In particular, we’d like to say good luck to our U16’s who are starting either their first or second year GCSE’s. And also all the very best to our U12’s who are moving from primary to comp into year 7. We know it’s a big jump and may seem scary but don’t forget to look out for other DVF family members to help you settle in!

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you all know that we will be holding our pre-season parents meeting this Friday the 4th September from 6pm. This meeting will be held at the Dare Community Sports Centre and there will be refreshments available. 🙂

We encourage all parents to attend (even new starters) as this will give you all a good opportunity to see what we have planned for this season and ask any questions 🏐🩷💙

If you want to affiliate yourselves, you are more than welcome but please let us know so we are aware of what fees need to be collected when we start back 😊

Some exciting news from yesterday. I received a surprise email and phone call from one of the fundraising team from the MND Association. I have been successfully selected to represent the MND Association at the London Marathon in 2027! It’s still not fully settled in yet - after years of trying to apply and getting rejected, I’ve now been given the opportunity to run arguably one of the most famous races in the world and for a cause which is very close to my heart and our lives.

I have spoken about our personal lives before to some members, but for those who don’t know, Lindsay was diagnosed with a rare form of MND back in 2024 known as Primary Lateral Sclerosis or PLS for short. MND is a progressive disease which affects basic functions such as speech, movement and balance to name a few. To be blunt, there is no known cure for the condition. The saving grace we have is that Lindsay’s diagnosis is the rare form of the condition which means the progression is at a much slower rate - the good news for us means it isn’t life limiting. But it is something that she - we have to live with 24/7. The MNDA supports those with the conditions as well as the families and children of those with the condition. We’ve used the MNDA ourselves and they are all fantastic and truly supportive.

So now I’m writing this to ask for your support. With this incredible opportunity comes responsibility - and I am looking to raise a minimum of £2700 for the MNDA. Any donations or support or shares would be very welcomed ❤️ Please us the link below! 👇🏼

Where do we begin…what a year it’s been. Once again, we have to say a massive thank you to all the parents and players for their continued support this season - you are what makes the club so special. To our coaches and committee a big thank you for giving up the time every week to head up the DVF family and help make the club the success that it is.

We wanted to give one last thank you to the girls for all their hard work this past season, and what better way with the current weather than an ice cream van - and as you can see, it was a pretty good choice!

We hope you all - parents, grandparents, guardians and players - have the most amazing summer. Be safe, stay hydrated but most of all enjoy it! We look forward to welcoming you all back in September. We will still be active on Spond and socials so keep an eye out for more news and updates 😊🩷

As it is our last training session this coming Friday, we have a “cool” surprise planned for all our players. So you don’t want to miss out - from 6pm-8:30pm. We can assure you, it’ll be a real “treat” from your DVF family 👀🍦🚐
