**Meet Gears Boxing Academy (GBA)** Gears Boxing Academy

For almost two years, Gears Boxing Academy has proudly called Kinellar Community Centre home, making the most of its fantastic facilities while building a welcoming and supportive boxing community.

More Than Just Boxing

GBA runs three boxing sessions every week, with each class offering something a little different. Monday and Thursday sessions welcome members of all ages and experience levels, covering everything from strength and conditioning to pad work, movement drills, and boxing techniques.

Whether you're stepping into a gym for the first time or have years of experience, everyone aged 7 and over is welcome.

Fitness, Confidence and Community

While boxing is at the heart of every session, GBA is about much more than learning to throw punches. Members improve their fitness, build discipline, develop confidence, and become part of a friendly team where lasting friendships are made.

Whether your goal is to compete in the ring or simply stay active and healthy, there's a place for you at Gears Boxing Academy.

Built on Strong Values

What makes GBA different is its commitment to its core values: **Responsibility, Accountability, and Work Ethic**. These aren't just words—they're part of every training session. Members regularly come together to discuss these values, helping to build not only better boxers but stronger, more confident people.

Celebrating Success

The club has enjoyed many achievements since it was founded, but one recent highlight stands out. In January, GBA entered three boxers into a national competition, and all three returned home as gold medallists. More than 20 supporters travelled to Motherwell to cheer them on, making it an unforgettable day for the entire GBA family.

For the coaches, the most rewarding part is seeing the enjoyment and sense of belonging that members experience. Watching people from all walks of life come together, support one another, and work towards shared goals is what makes Gears Boxing Academy so special.
