My client Jonny wanted to lose weight and be in decent shape at age 42 for the Masters Nationals swimming championships ๐ŸŠ, which had 1,500 competitors.

We pulled 10 kg off him in the last 3 months, and off the back of that, he brought home 4 medals, including a gold and a lifetime PB, making him Champion in the 400m front crawl.

Holiday prep transformation ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ

My client Adam put in the work and did what needed to be done, which was to get him competition ready for his holiday.

We had a few blips along the way with a kidney infection, which pushed his weight up quite a lot. But once we worked out that was the problem, we pulled him in and fine-tuned things in the final week to his holiday by manipulating his water and carb intake.

All in all, this resulted in a 12lb drop in weight just in time for his holiday tomorrow.

8 weeks holiday prep transformation ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ

My client, Carl, put in the necessary effort and accomplished what needed to be done in a short space of time.

Without the use of PEDs, we kept it natural and fine-tuned things in the final week prior to his holiday. By manipulating his water and carb intake, a peak week was achieved.

All in all, this resulted in a 10lb drop in weight in 8 weeks just in time for his holiday to Ibiza tomorrow.

I think we all can relate to some capacity when someone says "how do you stay so motivated?"

The answer: we don't ๐Ÿ˜‚

There are more days than I'd like to admit that I don't want to get up to do fasted cardio, eat prepped meals all day, train legs until I want to die and then do it all over again the next day ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฎ.

"So how do you get the job done?"

It's sometimes as simple as you just do. Lack of motivation in my opinion is simply the unwillingness or not wanting to do something.

Her are some tips:

- Go back to your goal and reassess

- Work out what is your why or reason

- Reach out to your support system

- Ensure you've set an attainable, realistic goal & your environment supports those goals.

You have it within you to "motivate" yourself & even if you can't, you have it in you to push yourself to get the job done, even when you may not feel like it.

Trust me you got this!

I'm absolutely honored to have had the opportunity to be on the official PCA poster for Manchester, my hometown.

This means so much to me for many reasons - it was the last place my dad saw me compete in 2018 2 years before he passed away, and it's also the place where I had my first win with the PCA Federation in 2021.

A huge thank you to PCA for including me on the poster, and I'm definitely looking forward to watching everyone compete at the show! ๐Ÿ’ฏ

I was talking to someone in the gym about taking a week off from training when I was away last week and they said even though it's the right thing to do they probably wouldnโ€™t do it..

I was never a big fan of taking a week off from training but whether you're training for a competition or feeling extra motivated, more isn't always better.

A recovery week gives the body more time to heal and adapt to the new physical stimulus.

Next time you feel like you have hit wall and you are struggling with your training, Give it a go, trust me you will return to the gym stronger and ready to challenge your body once again.

Youโ€™ve smashed your goal after months of hard work and dedication to your food plan.

So, what do you do now??

Most people take the opportunity to overindulge, and while it may seem like a reward, it's ultimately counterproductive.

Instead, why not take a couple of days off and enjoy yourself, but don't go crazy. After that, continue your plan and make sure to factor in meals with friends and family to maintain a balanced lifestyle. Prep isn't a quick fix, it should become part of your life.

After 5 months of prep, I'm ready for a break and want to spend some time with my family, clients, and friends.

For the next 10 weeks I'll still be on prep, with one meal a week off plan, and then I'll be setting my sights on two more shows by the end of the year.

The journey continues!
