One of the biggest nights of the year at Ash Grove returns on Friday 6 November — and it’s shaping up to be another brilliant evening for the whole family.

A great start to pre-season for our Colts. ❤️💛

The boys put in a strong performance in their recent friendly against Ampthill, coming away with a 49–7 win.

Plenty of positives to take from the game as the squad continues to build towards the season ahead.

🏉 GIRLS RUGBY IS HERE AT A&C! ❤️💛

We’re excited to announce the launch of girls’ rugby for ages 11–14 at Amersham & Chiltern RFC.

Starting on Sunday 11 October, our new weekly sessions will give girls the opportunity to get involved in rugby, develop their skills and enjoy being part of the A&C rugby community.

📅 Sundays from 11 October
⏰ 10.30–11.30am
📍 Ash Grove
👧 Ages 11–14

We’d love you to help us spread the word. If your daughter is interested, encourage her to bring a friend — or a few! — along too.

This is another step in our commitment to growing and supporting women’s and girls’ rugby across the Club, with regular training opportunities being developed for our female players.

Our 1st XV took a large squad and travelled away to face Regional 1 side Farnham in our final pre-season fixture.

In a physical and tightly fought contest, A&C produced a strong team performance, playing some entertaining rugby and showing plenty of character to withstand a late Farnham push and secure a 22–23 win.

A brilliant squad effort and a really positive way to finish our pre-season games.

Pre-season complete and plenty of momentum to take forward. The boys are working hard, excited for the challenge ahead and ready to get the league season underway.

🛠️ A&C WORKFORCE DAY | CAN YOU SPARE A FEW HOURS?

While the Tom Love Trust Fun Run is bringing plenty of activity to Ash Grove on Saturday 19 September, we’re taking the opportunity to run our own A&C Workforce Day alongside it.

We’re asking members, parents, players and friends of the Club to kindly give a little of their time to help us give Ash Grove some much-needed TLC. ❤️💛

There are two sessions, so whether you can spare the morning, the afternoon or just a couple of hours, every extra pair of hands will make a difference:

Session 1: 9am–12pm
Session 2: 1pm–4pm

Jobs on the list include painting outdoor tables and chairs, replacing table tops, building the new dugouts and indoor tables, clearing bins and giving the rear of the clubhouse and patio a good tidy-up.

We’re also looking for someone to help lead Session 2.

No special skills required — just a willingness to muck in and help get the Club looking its best.

🏉 START THE SEASON WITH US AT ASH GROVE! ❤️💛

Our opening Season Supporters Lunch takes place on Saturday 26 September, ahead of the 1XV’s first league fixture against Old Priorians and we’ve got a packed afternoon planned.

Join us from midday for lunch provided by ALSK, followed by some special moments for our U13s and the reveal of our new away kit competition before the senior action gets underway.

🕛 12.00pm – Bar opens
🍽️ 12.30pm – Supporters Lunch
🎖️ 1.30pm – U13 tie presentation
👕 2.00pm – New kit launch
📸 2.30pm – U13 team photo
👏 2.55pm – U13 Guard of Honour
🏉 3.00pm – A&C 1XV v Old Priorians
